At Nyanza you step inside the reconstructed royal palace, meet the long-horned Inyambo cattle and watch Intore dancers. In Huye the Ethnographic Museum holds one of the best collections of traditional objects in East Africa. The day ends at the Murambi Genocide Memorial, a quiet and moving place to understand 1994 and how Rwanda has healed.
